“I Can’t Remember reflects years of personal growth, heartbreak, and grief, while also exploring themes of inner resilience. The EP balances darker introspective moments with the lighter joys of life, showing the complexity of human emotions. Hendrika’s music, rooted in bluegrass but influenced by rock, jazz, and indie folk, creates a fusion that feels both versatile and unique.” - Wax Vinyl Records
“As Hendrika, Selina Heyligers-Hare wraps genres around each other with confident ease. Her new EP, I Can't Remember, offers ranging, amped-up folk with an alt-rock edge: melodies glide across intricate guitar work, riffs chug under pointed observations, and sharp dynamics give even her most intimate writing a sense of scale and force.
Guided by Heyligers-Hare's soaring voice, I Can't Remember marks the sound of a songwriter coming into her own.”
Paul Blinov - Exclaim! Magazine
“Hendrika’s latest track ‘You’ve Got Gold’ is a masterclass in building tension and emotional depth, resonating with a blend of folk and alternative rock.” - Tits Upon Tyne
“… It’s an enchanting sound that speaks to Hendrika’s timeless songwriting charm as well as her incredible performance flair.”

NEW EP: I CAN’T REMEMBER
Composed over many years of growth, heartbreak and grief, it's contents explore the depths of the human condition, the poignant irony of the outward grasping need for a love that can only be found within. But with this poetic existential darkness and turmoil, it also touches on the lighter pleasures of life and the simplicities of us in our truest selves.
